DONATION INFORMATION FOR TAYLOR COUNTY DISASTER VICTIMS

3-Trees Church located at 1 Living Grace Dr. has been designated as a Disaster Relief Response Center to help mitigate the needs of victims of the Severe Weather / Tornado who may be needing shelter, clothing, personal care / toiletry items.

The facility will be open daily from 1 PM - 6 PM EST, but the following number is being provided to us as a contact for all hours of the day / night regardless of the hour.

Team Western Kentucky Relief Fund - State-led relief fund for all impacted Kentucky counties.

KSR Western Kentucky Tornado Relief Fund powered by the Kentucky Chamber Foundation - Partnership with Kentucky Sports Radio and the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Foundation to work with impacted communities and help them rebuild through local chambers of commerce.

Kentucky Nurses Foundation Disaster Relief Fund - The Kentucky Nurses Foundation is raising money through a GoFundMe to support areas hardest hit by the tornado.

United Way: Kentucky Tornado Fund - The United Way’s fund will go specifically to Western Kentucky recovery efforts.

Salvation Army of Kentucky - The Salvation Army has set up a fund that will go directly to their work on the ground in Western Kentucky.

Donate supplies:

Against the Grain

Drop off supplies at both locations – Against the Grain Smokehouse at 401 E. Main St., and Against the Grain Public House at 1576 Bardstown Rd.

Sending a shipment to Bowling Green and Paducah on Thursday, December 16 but will continue with additional shipments as supplies continue.

Items needed: Diapers, baby formula, toothbrushes and paste, soap, bleach, disinfectant wipes, paper towels, toilet paper, zip lock bags, garbage bags, socks, gloves, scarves, hats, blankets, batteries, non-perishable food items.

Bellwether Hotel

Bring canned good donations to Bellwether’s Open House at 1300 Bardstown Rd., on Thursday, December 16 from 3 -7 p.m.

Sending all donations to Mayfield, Ky.

Items needed: canned, non-perishable food.

Bullitt County Public Schools Stuff the Bus

Drop off supplies at any BCPS building between now and Thursday, December 16 during normal business hours.

Items needed: plastic totes, backpacks, gallon jugs of water, toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies, feminine hygiene items, and Christmas gifts.

Hampton Inn – Louisville Airport

Drop off supplies in the hotel lobby, at 800 Phillips Ln.

Delivering all supplies directly to the Graves County Fairgrounds.

Items needed: children’s toys, clothing, personal items, and other essentials.

The Hampton Inn is also offering reduced room rates to those impacted. Call 502.366.8100 for information.

Independence Bank

Drop off supplies at two locations: St. Matthews Branch, 3901 Shelbyville Rd., and Yum! Headquarters, 1900 Colonel Sanders Ln.

Supplies will be sent to impacted areas where Independence Bank has a presence, which is many of the hardest hit towns.

Items needed: bottled water, hygiene products, coats, blankets, formula, diapers, non-perishable food, toilet paper, tote bags and laundry bags.

JCPS Stuff the Bus Event

Drop off supplies in front of the VanHoose Education Building at 3332 Newburg Road, anytime from 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Drive runs through Friday, December 17 at 4:30 p.m., and will be distributed across Western Kentucky.

Items needed: Bottled water, tarps, baby food, baby formula, diapers, canned and boxed food, and hygiene products.

USA Cares

Drop off supplies at USA Cares Headquarters at 11760 Commonwealth Drive. Louisville, Ky. 40299 anytime from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Collections will be accepted until Thursday, December 16 at 4:30 p.m.

Items needed: gift cards for major retailers, hygiene products, winter gloves, hats, coats, blankets, diapers, baby formula, and baby wipes.

Western Kentucky Toy Drive

First Lady Britainy Beshear is organizing a toy drive for Western Kentucky children impacted by the tornadoes to ensure they are able to celebrate the holidays.

Louisville drop-off locations will be at Broadbent Arena, KFEC Gate 4 Dr., (Off Crittenden Drive) with drop-offs accepted Tuesday, Dec. 14 – Friday, Dec. 17, noon – 5 p.m. EST, and Saturday, Dec. 18, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., and St. Matthews Police Department, 3940 Grandview Ave, with drop-offs accepted Tuesday, Dec. 14 – Friday, Dec. 17, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Items needed: toys, books, electronics for any age between 0 -18, as well as $25 VISA or MasterCard gift cards. (Please do not wrap any of the gifts for easier sorting).

Frazier History Museum

Matching all monetary donations made by museum visitors from 12/16 – 12/19 and will send all proceeds directly to the Western Kentucky Red Cross.

Green District Salads

Green District is partnering with 106.9 to offer a free salad for anyone who brings in a NEW, unwrapped toy or game to be donated to families impacted by the tornadoes. Bring a toy into any of their Louisville area locations between 12/15 and 12/17 and receive a code for a free salad.

Donating $1 from every Holiday Seasonal Drink sold from 12/13 – 12/19 to the Team Western Kentucky Disaster Relief Fund.
